Our ignitable liquid detection canine team works independently and in support of our fire and explosion investigators. Our canine and handler team specialize in detecting the presence of ignitable liquids, (commonly referred to as accelerants) at fire and explosion scenes with remarkable accuracy. Our canine team undergoes rigorous daily training and annual evaluation and recertification.

The exceptional olfactory capabilities of our canines enable them to locate trace amounts of 12 different ignitable liquids that otherwise may go undetected.
